Personal analytics can be switched on and off, by default, as this is demanded by persona data protection and GDPR regulations, they are switched off.

* End user is never asked for his identity if Personal Analytics are switched off and the user identity is anot tracked/collected anymore even if he provided his identity in the past.

As an admin of the Portal, I can decide if Personal Analytics are switched on and thus, user identification is forced for end users. By default personal analytics are switched off.

If switched ON, then:

  • All analytics data are shown for the identified users only;
  • Login dialog will trigger only when switched on.

  • Data about the identity is not collected.
  • The User Settings dialog does not show User Identity.
  • End user is never asked for his identity if Personal Analytics are switched off, and the user identity is not tracked/collected anymore even if he provided his identity in the past.

Scenarios for when “login” dialog shows up are:

  • Start Journey in Autoplay mode: dialog appears after transiting from the first step;
  • Start Journey via Journey link (nw-step-id, nw-journey-id in URL): dialog appears after transiting from the first step;
  • Start Journey via API: dialog appears after transiting from the first step;
  • Start Journey via Launcher Panel: dialog appears just before the first step;
  • Start Journey via Journey launch button from Tip: dialog appears just before the first step.
